At the Center for Integral Spiritual Formation (CISF), we believe that chaplaincy is not just a profession—it’s a sacred calling. Our mission is to prepare spiritual caregivers to serve with wisdom, compassion, and clarity in the moments that matter most. CISF provides Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) that honors both the clinical rigor required in professional chaplaincy and the deep spiritual formation necessary to support others through life’s most vulnerable seasons.
We live in a time when people are grieving more deeply, questioning more fiercely, and searching more earnestly for meaning. Chaplains are uniquely positioned to meet others in these sacred thresholds—yet many who are called to this work lack access to inclusive, professional training. CISF exists to bridge that gap. We offer a space for those called to spiritual care to be formed in heart, mind, and soul—no matter their background, denomination, or location.
CISF is rooted in the principles of adult learning, spiritual reflection, and transformational education. We help our students grow not only in knowledge and skill, but in self-awareness, presence, and authenticity. Our ACPE-accredited programs are rigorous and deeply human. Through group sessions, case studies, theological reflection, and 1:1 supervision, students emerge with clarity about their strengths, their growing edges, and the sacred trust they hold in caring for others.
