Clinical Pastoral Education Units

The Center for Integral Spiritual Formation (CISF) offers three ACPE-accredited CPE unit types — a 16-week extended unit, a 26-week extended unit, and a 10-week summer intensive — with multiple term windows throughout the year, all delivered in a flexible online-hybrid environment.

What Every Unit Includes

All three unit types fully meet ACPE national standards for professional chaplaincy certification. Each completes a full 400-hour unit.

Weekly online synchronous seminars, verbatim seminars, didactic lectures, and interpersonal process groups.

Clinical Ministry Hours

Supervised pastoral care in your current hospital, hospice, parish, correctional, military, or community setting.

Bi-weekly individual supervisory sessions with ACPE Certified Educators focusing on your pastoral identity and growth edges.

Recognized nationwide across healthcare systems, military endorsers, and professional chaplaincy boards (APC, NAVAC, etc.).
